Overview

TidyText processes all text locally in your browser. This page explains what limited data the site collects.

TidyText (web — tidytext.cc)

Your text never touches a server. All processing happens locally in your browser using web workers. Nothing you type is stored, logged, or sent to us.

That said, the web app uses two third-party services:

Google Analytics collects standard usage data — pages visited, browser type, general location. It does not have access to the text you process.

Sentry collects error reports if something goes wrong. Sentry is active in the web workers that handle text processing, which means in the event of an error, some context from that operation could be included in an error report. We use this only to fix bugs.

Neither service is used to sell ads or share your data with third parties beyond what their own privacy policies describe.

What we don't collect

• The text you process
• Your IP address
• Any account information (there are no accounts)
• Cookies beyond what Google Analytics sets
